i am considering making something along the lines of this for use in airsofting, has any one got any advice, i may start with motocross armour and build from
there.

Looks a little like clone armour, perhaps you could modify that or just get the parts that are close to it , i am sure a supplier would sell a part kit.

how much would such a kit cost, i didn't really want to spend allot as it will get damaged easily, so far its gone up to around 400 quid, which is kinda
making me scrap the idea.

You could have a go yourself at some of it then , get some styrene sheet and heat it up to make curved shin armour and the like, would be a real cheap option .

Or use Sintra (PVC foam board) that can be formed with hot water, just do a search online for the stuff

ye trouble is i need it to be impact resistant, as i would be using it in various locations such as quarry's, tho tbh it looks as if to get what i want is
