your blue petere reference Steve> But that's only scratching the surface of what i get up to nowadays between my real job as a postie and Union man, and
my hobbies of film making and Special effects make up. Right now I've almost finished up on a unusual commission. a companion cube from the game Portal.
It's taken a while to get this finished due to a lot of things getting in the way. but I finally pulled these two from the silicone today. Roto casted in easy flow 120 so it sets up fairly quickly and has a demold of roughly 30 minutes. These are untrimmed and straight out the mold. Having used many of the same molding techniques I use when making prosthetics means that what flashing there is often dropps off as you remove it from the mold, so you get a nice clean piece with minimal clean up. Not bad for a non cardboard prop.
