right after weeks of chasing down leads and builders - I just dont have the odd USD200 to spend on this mask :(
which has kinda forced me down the slow and arduous route of trying to make one. emphasis on the tryin.
did a paper mache rough sizing of me head. reinforced with B&Q expanding foam. decided on the water based, air dryin clay in the end (wife had it lying abt for her own use)
now boys, considering I have never done anything like this before - after my 1st night of "sculpting" last week -
now every1, stop laughing and get of the floor.
its amazin how when u 1st do something - u think; man that was great! exactly how I wanted it, and by the next day u realise how sh**e it was.
anyways, got a bit more time tonite and refined the sculpt a bit more
I already realise my "ear" flairs are all wrong - but easily fixable.
any advise will be welcomed - I thought water based was supposed to be easy to get smooth!!
