Posts: 1 10/27/09 15:09:29	Tags : None I have a hankering to do a UniSol uniform ala the first film (the choc chip camo gear). Now has anyone done this already & can offer assistance or actually has some of the prop pieces? I have mainly weapons sorted (Mp5-K, Desert Eagle, Colt .45 1911) & some good still shots of the headset to attempt a go. Though if anyone actually has an original well i`d love close ups & even brand names used to make it. The uniform is the big problem. Choc Chip trousers are sorted. As to the ankle puttees & desert boots (or fair reps), it`s the Long sleeve T-shirt top I`m stumped on & also choc chip camop material for making the vest & shoulder armour. Also anyone know the type of Shoulder Rig they used? As it`s been modified with the extra ammo pouches I think. Looks to me like it`s all custom but I could be wrong. Posts: 2 10/27/09 16:04:28	Ahhh cheers Si thing is though the Tee in the film are long sleeved though all (memory serves) have them bunched up on their fore arms. Though using Tee`s for the material is a great idea. mmmm Maybe a Choc Chip Jacket (M65) to use as base for the vest too as it comes with the collar akin to the movie/current issued vests. Your right about the uniform, it is very hard to find, I have been following this thread and tried to find a long sleeve choc chip tee recently but no luck. You may have to find a long sleeve tee in 'sand' colour then add the other camo colours using acrylic paint. This is what I did with my rogue trooper camo trousers. These were originally olive green in colour and I used a darker green acrylic paint to achieve the look I wanted as I didn't want to use standard army camo trousers. The padded vest you will have to make too as I reckon this was made for the movie rather than bought off the shelf. Keep us updated as you go bud, good luck!

Posts: 3 12/04/09 20:32:04	Thank`s for the comments guys :D I`m still looking into a few things. One being on facebook I have the UniSol costumer as a friend. Hoping he gets back to me with ANYTHING to help make this. If not I`ll have to fall back to plan B, ACU type vest in Sand, & work on that. Ditto for the long sleeve Sand coloured T-shirt (had the same idea Judge :D ). Now as for a neckless of ears mmmmmm actually wasn`t going to do that BUT it would be COOL. Have no idea how to cast I`m afriad so I`ll have to do real ones Jason
