The suit is a plain Charcoal grey business suit. Three front buttons and three cuff buttons, as per the films. It's charcoal as I'm going for Matrix, not reloaded or revolutions, in which they had black suits. The lining is not accurate, as it's a mustard colour in the films, but it's not bad for starters and I'm working on a more accurate version.
The shirt is a Van Heusen double back cuff shirt. The collar is a little too open at the front for 100% accuracy, but I had it already so it'll do while I try and source one with a narrower collar opening.
The tie is from Next about 7 years ago, bought for a mate's dad's funeral. It's slightly too wide for 100% accuracy, but again, it'll do until something better finds me.
The tie clip is from tie rack. It's a brushed aluminium effect, but looks OK. I can't find a good ref pic to see whether it's supposed to be chrome/silver or brushed.
The cuff links are as accurate as I could find. Again, difficult to get good ref pics!
The sunglasses are genuine Blinde sunglasses as used in the film. Bought on ebay for more than I'd like but less than the retail price of $240 + shipping.
The earpiece is about 90 - 95% accurate and bought from www.mpmcostumes.com. Great site! The only differences in the earpiece are the film one has a small chrome band around the edge of the bit that actually goes into your ear, and the bit in your ear is pink, whereas mine is clear and has no band. You have to know what you're looking for and really look for it though to see it.
The belt is one I had and pretty accurate, although it's a gold buckle and I suspect the film version is chrome. Again, very few ref pics.
The shoes are Clark's square toe'd semi patent leather formal shoes. I had thought them very accurate, but recently found out that the agents wear boots, so the search continues. The shoes will do fine in the meantime.
The gun is a Marui Desert Eagle Airsoft BB gun, courtesy of Phil Quicksaber. Cheers matey!
I'm looking for a DE shoulder holster.
I have three agent bugs on order, just for fun, and I'm looking for an accurate case for them to go in. If anyone knows of one, or someone who can make one, please let me know.
Here are the pics. If anyone can see any glaring erors, please let me know. Ta.
The last one is the bullet dodging pose, which looked really good in real life, apparently, but the camera mucks up the perspective. I was balanced precariously on my drum stool with a carefully positioned leg, hiding the base of the stool, but when it came out, it just looked like I was lying on the grass! Ah well.
